Tarawneh Law Firm & Arbitration provides integrated legal services to individuals, companies and investors, drawing on the team’s combined professional experience of more than a century. The firm’s work encompasses civil and commercial disputes, criminal matters and major felonies, Sharia matters, debt recovery and financial claims, as well as domestic and international arbitration and cross-border counsel through a network of partner law firms across the Arab region.

The firm places particular emphasis on preventive legal services before disputes arise. This includes building sound legal structures, drafting and reviewing contracts, incorporating companies, organizing their operations and establishing branches inside and outside Jordan. The team also identifies and addresses legal risk at an early stage for companies, educational institutions and investors, while providing remedial solutions and representation before courts and arbitral tribunals whenever required.

Founder & Partner

Adel Abdelqader Al-Tarawneh

Founder and Partner, Adel Al-Tarawneh is a lawyer and arbitrator with more than five decades of professional experience. He served as a Public Prosecutor before the Police Court and held senior legal and administrative positions within Jordan’s Public Security Directorate before entering private practice in 1994. His experience spans litigation and arbitration, commercial, civil and cross-border matters, corporate governance, and contracts and disputes involving the military, security and defence sectors. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Jordan and served four terms on the Jordan Bar Association Council, including as Treasurer and Vice President.

Mohammad Adel Al-Tarawneh

As Managing Partner, he oversees the firm’s operations and legal matters, drawing on continuous professional experience since 2009. His practice combines rigorous legal analysis with a practical understanding of the commercial dimensions of disputes, guiding the team in delivering considered solutions and effective representation. He also advises on cross-border matters and coordinates legal work with a network of partner law firms across the Arab region, enabling clients to address matters with a regional dimension through informed and locally grounded counsel. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Mutah University in Jordan. His professional experience encompasses corporate and business law, Legal English, and arbitration, supported by specialized programs undertaken with Metropolis Legal Training.

Nabhan Harbawi

He leads the Civil Department with litigation experience dating back to 1994 and a well-established command of civil claims and disputes across all levels of Jordanian courts. He is a graduate of the University of Batna in Algeria.

Adnan Al-Jaafari

A legal consultant and Head of the Criminal Department, he has practiced before civil and Sharia courts since 2007. His work encompasses criminal case assessment, defense strategy and advisory support in complex matters, alongside his role as an accredited domestic and international arbitrator. He earned his law degree from Ain Shams University in Egypt.

Muatasem Abu Safi

A practicing attorney before civil and Sharia courts, he assists in preparing claims, managing court procedures and representing clients before Jordanian courts. His work places particular emphasis on factual and evidentiary analysis and the drafting of pleadings and legal submissions. He began practicing in 2025 and is a graduate of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.
